Paying Money Owed On Taxes

As a reminder, if you owe money to the IRS or to the State, e-filing does not mean the money has to be withdrawn at the same time.  We are able to specify the date at which the money is to be withdrawn from your bank account.  Or, we can request the money to be not withdrawn at all.  In which case you have several options listed below.

1.  If you wish to pay money owed to the IRS by debiting your bank account use this link (free)

https://directpay.irs.gov/directpay/payment?execution=e1s1

 2.  If you wish to pay money owed to the IRS by credit card (small fee)

3.  If you wish to pay money owed to the State of California by debiting your bank account use this link (free)

  4.  If you wish to pay money owed to the State of California by credit card  (small fee)

5.  If you wish to send a check, we can provide you with a voucher with directions on where and what to write on the check.

This year, the last day to file and to pay is May 17 for both Federal and California and for most states.
